We have two rescue dogs, a Boston pug mix and a lab mix.
Although they are both good dogs, they would get excited, not
follow commands, jump on people, and when they would see
other dogs, they would make a mad dash towards them.
When taking them for walks, it was hectic, chaotic and sometimes
stressful. They would both try to be the leader of the pack, each of
them charging ahead. It was always a race between the two of
them, who would be the lead, at times; it was as if they were
walking us! This was of course to no fault of their own; it was
actually what we had not done to teach them. We had no training
on how to train the dogs. So we lacked the foundational lessons
needed to teach our dogs how to obey. Then we called K9 Rules
Training Camp. There we learned how to get our dogs to respond
to us, how to get them to focus on us and not their surroundings,
how to follow commands, and how to decrease their anxiety
level. Soon after finishing our classes at the camp, we had multiple
comments from friends and family about “how they are completely
different dogs”, “they are so well behaved”, etc. The team at K9
Rules was amazing. It is obvious that there is a genuine love for
dogs and a dedication to improving the relationships between
dogs and their owners as well as the lives of the dogs.
Thank you K9 Training Camp! We love you!
